I am so excited to be your child's fourth grade teacher.  When I was a child, I would practice teaching class to my imaginary students and my stuffed animals.  Teaching has been a life-long dream for me and I absolutley love what I do. 

 

I am proud to be a part of the excellent educational environment at Cassens.  I was a student teacher at Cassens during the 2011-12 year.  I graduated in the fall of 2012 with my Masters Degree from Greenville College.  I knew from that moment on, I wanted to be a teacher at this school.  I look forward to an awesome school year with your child!

 

I am married to my husband Ben and have an eighteen year old daughter, Sophie.  We moved to Glen Carbon in 2014 and I absolutely love living in the community I teach.  I am originally from Alton.  My husband is from Kentucky and we enjoy visitng there, and of course rooting on our favorite basketball team; University of Kentucky.

 

In my free time, I enjoy traveling.  Some of my favorite trips include: Puerto Rico, Jamaica, and The Bahamas.  As a family we like to take a lot of cruises for our vacations.  We love to swim, snorkel and sight see.

 

Another passion of mine is taking photographs.  I feel that pictures capture so much and I love making photos into art pieces.   Several of the pictures that I take are of our travels, or of my daughter at all of her sporting events.  My family loves sports and we enjoy going to events of all types!
